Hyakutake is the latest composition by Tiziana Terenzi from the wonderful Comet Collection. The composition includes such ingredients as pansy flower, frankincense, iris, ambergris, larch, cardamom, bergamot, eucalyptus, lemon, Australian sandalwood, vetiver, musk and tobacco. The opening of the fragrance greets us with a fresh note of eucalyptus combined with aromatic cardamom and citrus. At some point there are notes of incense. The smell is incredibly aromatic and citrus-balsamic. An interesting accent is the note of larch, which I encounter for the first time in perfumes. I would call this scent slightly green and I also detect accents of dried herbs. I’m not sure if that’s what larch smells like, but I’m sure of one thing: it’s a unique aroma. In the next stage, the composition becomes a bit more woody. There are noticeable notes of powdery iris and sandalwood, which from that moment reigns in the entire composition. I love its exquisite and creamy scent. Vetiver also deserves a lot of attention, which in a wonderful way emphasizes woody notes. All fans of this aromatic ingredient will surely know what I am talking about. If you love vetiver, Hyakutake will certainly meet your expectations.
The parameters of the fragrance are very good. Tiziana and Paolo Terenzi will never disappoint me, and the Comet Collection is my second favorite collection in their catalog after Seastars Collection. Reach for something new from this great brand. New and interesting experiences await you.
