STORIES Parfums is an olfactory ode to the memories that have shaped founder Tonya’s life. It was only after a transformative trip to the heart of perfume-making in Grasse, France, that she realised the power of fragrance to heal, release and transcend tragedy.
Spurred on by this discovery, STORIES Parfums was born. Using the best raw materials and time-honoured traditional methods, Tonya created each fragrance to capture a moment and unlock a memory significant to her. Each bottle is a narrative woven together by a carefully orchestrated balance of notes; as our name suggests, it is a story in aromatic form.
Stories No. 01 is a woody aromatic composition, which includes ingredients such as: bergamot, grapefruit, orange blossom, jasmine, cedar, tea, heliotrope, fig, sandalwood, vetiver and amber. The opening of the fragrance is an aromatic combination of bergamot and grapefruit with an interesting accent of orange blossom and jasmine. The fragrance is slightly sweet with woody notes. The next stage is creamy sandalwood and fig. The smell is slightly spicy, definitely woody but has a sweet and floral accent from my favorite jasmine. The parameters of the fragrance are very good. The composition stays on the skin for a long time and has good projection. If you are a fan of woody compositions with a citrus-floral mix, then you should definitely check out Stories No. 01.
Stories No. 02 is a warm spicy and patchouli fragrance with: bergamot, ginger, green tea, Bulgarian rose, cardamom, tobacco, cedar, patchouli, musk, tonka, opoponax and amber. The fragrance greets us with an interesting combination of wood and tobacco with an accent of earthy patchouli and forest cardamom. In the background, there are light accents of receipts, which with each subsequent minute begin to be felt more strongly. My favorite moment is when ginger and bergamot appear. This combination always enhances spicy fragrances and makes them unique. In the last stage we get a warming scent of amber and tonka with a characteristic note of opoponax. The parameters of the fragrance are very good. I can feel the quality of the ingredients, which is extremely important in such a noble fragrance. A big plus with an interesting note of tobacco combined with ginger.
