Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier is a top French niche perfume brand that has been on the market since 1988. During this time, 49 fragrance compositions have been created, the latest of which comes from 2019. Racine is an earthy, woody composition, which, despite its simple composition, is one of the most interesting works that have landen in my hands this year.
The composition opens with a combination of vetiver and citrus, which both create an interesting woody aroma that slightly warms our skin, adding warmth and freshness of the citrus. Then, it gets a bit darker and more earthy, thanks to the combination of oakmoss and vetiver. This is definitely one of the most interesting combinations that I had the opportunity to test this year. The smell completely surprised me, so I know now that I will want to test other works of the Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier brand.
The fragrance parameters are at a very good level. It stays on the skin for up to 8 hours. The fragrance will be loved by all lovers of niche wood fragrances and fans of vetiver.
