Woudacieux Haute Parfumerie is a French niche perfume brand that was founded in 2021. Currently, the brand has 10 fragrance compositions to its credit, of which 3 are in my hands.
Lilachypre Encens is the most interesting fragrance from all three, thus, I decided to start my review with this composition. It is a woody, smoky fragrance with ingredients such as: vetiver, olibanum, cherry, lilac, cypriol and oakmoss. The opening of the fragrance belongs to a light floral note with the addition of heavy incense with an incredibly smoky face. This characteristic smoke is getting thicker with every minute. In the background, one can smell baeutiful lilac, which gives an interesting, floral look to the whole. The fragrance is bold, unique and incredibly intriguing. I recommend it to all fans of niche perfumes who also enjoy strong and durable compositions. This is one of my best discoveries in recent months.
Animacuiris Intime is also an interesting composition. This time, it is a woody amber fragrance with an earthy patchouli lining. The opening of the fragrance belongs to a mixture of wood notes and strong resins, which makes the fragrance an incredibly interesting and modern mixture. In the background, animal notes are noticeable, which add warmth and coziness. There is also an admixture of thuja, which complements this scent an aromatic accent. In the next stage, we get a mixture of rose, patchouli and musk, which makes the fragrance envelop us with its warmth and pleasantness. The fragrance is incredibly interesting and distinctive, therefore, I would definitely recommend it to fans of niche perfumes.
Mousse D’Arbre Gris is also a very interesting item. It is an amber-like animal composition with a wood base. The opening welcomes us with a mixture of civet, castoreum, light herbal notes and warm suede. The smell is very cozy, but characterful and pugnacious at the same time. Added to this is the scent of ambergris and labdanum, which add strength to this composition. The smell is incredibly woody and animal, although, it shouldn’t be misconstrued. It is a very pleasant composition for fans of warm, leather and suede fragrances with incredibly aromatic herbs.
Woudacieux Haute Parfumerie is a brand that surprised me a lot with its debut and I have to admit that there hasn’t been such an interesting project for a long time. I hope that we will test more fragrances together soon and that the Woudacieux Haute Parfumerie brand will surprise us with each new premiere.
