[REVIEW] Sarah Baker – Far from the Madding Crowd and G Clef

Far from the Madding Crowd is a woody and fruity composition with ingredients such as: black
currant, bergamot, eucalyptus, jasmine, plum, musk, castoreum, cedar and heliotrope. The opening of the fragrance belongs to a sweet citrus blend of blackcurrant and bergamot with a hint of eucalyptus that alltogether add refreshment to the whole mix. In the next stage floral notes can be sensed. We begin to smell jasmine and heliotrope with a hint of plum. It is a wonderful and sensual sweetness that accompanies us for a long time. In the next stage, we get an injection of animal notes, wood notes and warm musk. Then, the fragrance enters its final phase and is incredibly cozy and warm. This is definitely my favorite moment. The fragrance parameters are at a very good level. The composition stays on the body for up to 10 hours. This particular fragrance was composed by Miguel Matos.

G Clef is a fresh, aromatic and ‘green’ fragrance. It includes ingredients such as: calone, grapefruit, coumarin, lavender, hedione, oakmoss and amber. The opening of the fragrance welcomes us with green and fresh notes. The fragrance is slightly balsamic and smells like freshly cut grass. The aromatic opening is also balanced by a mixture of slightly sweet lavender and calone, a sea molecule that gives the whole freshness. The smell becomes warmer with each passing moment. There are notes of coumarin, which add a slightly dry woody note. In the last stage, oakmoss and amber create a warming, close-skinned aura around our skin.The fragrance parameters are very good. The composition is close to the skin and incredibly warming. This multi-dimensional composition was created by Sarah Baker.
