Inspired by recent videos on perfume layering that Paolo and Tiziana Terenzi posted on Giardino Benessere’s profile, I decided to take up the challenge and create my own combination of two wonderful and marine compositions of this brand. How did it work?
Salaria is an aromatic and marine composition, in which we will find: seaweed, myrtle, salt, cedar and musk. The opening of the fragrance is light and incredibly marine. There are notes of seaweed and aromas of salt. The composition sometimes smells like the depths of the sea, into which we are getting deeper and deeper. Myrtle and pleasant notes of musk are also noticeable. The scent envelops us and is very calming.
Oceania is a fresh spicy fragrance with a marine feel. We will find notes such as bergamot, orange, cardamom, lavender, fruity notes, sandalwood and musk. The smell is fresh and citrus, although I feel a strong marine accent. The scent is crisp and fresh. It’s a sunny day at the beach and aromas coming to us with a cool breeze from the ocean.
However, two different compositions have much in common than one might think. The scents complement each other perfectly and this is my favorite combination of the two fragrances. Salaria creates a salty and marine coating, while Oceania gives us a breath of fresh air. Combined, these scents create a fragrance that transports me to remote islands in the middle of the ocean and sandy deserted beaches.
