Amber Aoud is a warm spicy composition with a rose base. The composition of the fragrance includes such fragrance notes as: rose, fig, ylang-ylang, jasmine, lime, lemon, bergamot, oud, amber, saffron, cinnamon, civet, birch, musk and patchouli. The opening of the fragrance is a combination of oriental notes of rose and oud bathed in a warm note of ambergris. The whole is elegant, warm and incredibly intense. The Roja brand has already accustomed me to the best quality perfumes, so it was not a surprise to me. I love strong and long-lasting compositions, and Amber Aoud still had a lot to offer. In the next stage, the composition becomes definitely more woody. Oud notes combine with sandalwood and wonderful citrus notes. My favorite moment is when the creamy note of ylang-ylang and jasmine emerges. The fragrance ends with a wonderful combination of musk, patchouli, civet and orris root. I am a fan of such powdery-musky endings of the fragrance.
The parameters of the fragrance, as I mentioned, are at the highest level. The composition stays on the skin for up to 16 hours, and it stayed on my autumn scarf for long days. If you love oud, rose and oriental fragrances with fantastic projection then you have to test Amber Aoud. Big applause to Roja Dove for such a great composition.
