Retrouvailles is a new niche perfume brand that was founded in 2019. The project was born in the United Arab Emirates and currently has 16 fragrance compositions in its portfolio, the latest of which dates back to 2021.
The Address is a warm spicy composition that welcomes us with a wonderful aroma of rose and saffron based on myrrh and patchouli. In the background there is a note of oud, which after a few moments takes over and becomes a fantastic complement to the warming amber. In the next stage, the smell revives. There are notes of lemon, tropical passion fruit and aromatic cardamom. The Address is a fragrance with many faces, thus, I tested it many times before writing this review. In the autumn the fragrance is comforting and woody, only to become warm in the winter, with a slight sweetness of mango and passion fruit. I am delighted with how the Retrouvailes brand has combined so many different ingredients into such a multidimensional and alluring fragrance.
L’Oud Night is an aromatic and herbal composition. The opening of the fragrance is a mixture of lavender and grapefruit as well as strong aromas of leather and tobacco. The whole scent is seasoned with a mixture of spices. In the next stage, the fragrance takes on an interesting woody face and my senses begin to smell notes of oud and deep notes of dark woods. This is my favorite combination, because it is unique and electrifying. It is also worth mentioning the amber accent, which adds a slightly animal touch to the whole mixture. I am delighted with this composition and I am sure that this fragrance will be loved by all fans of aromatic and woody fragrances. For me, L’Oud Night is a hit and it will become one of my favorite winter fragrances.
