Paris 1985.
Partners in life, artists, frequent travellers, Francis Miller and Patrick Bertaux set down their suitcases in Paris, in the Marais. They open a shop to present their clothing designs and the objects they bring back from their travels.
A few poetic words written on the white walls, large strokes of paint thrown “à la Pollock”.
The decor is set.
Miller and Bertaux was born.
Soon, they complete this universe with perfumes that they imagine as artists-craftsmen.
An armful of flowers placed on the ground of a market elsewhere, a rose in the ear of an Eastern man, the smoke from a Mexican church…
It is in their lives and their travels that they find the most beautiful images, the most beautiful stories that they transform into perfumes for women and men, regardless of gender.
Miller et Bertaux (established in 1985.) is a Parisian design house of modern and unique clothing line, art, accessories and perfumes. Their perfume line is unique by design of package and of fragrant compositions; sophisticated, posh, chic and poetic. “The eclectic nature of their vision, and trips is translated to their perfumes. Parfums de nature.” – Miller et Bertaux
“Perfumes for body and soul, dedicated to those who choose the balance of being and appearance.”
New Study (Postcard) is a citrus aromatic blend with grapefruit, fig leaf, fig, coconut, grass, lemon, green orange, white peach blossoms and woody notes. The opening of the fragrance is a fresh combination of citrus notes with a slightly creamy fig base. I love such light and holiday fragrance compositions that transport us somewhere to a warm place on earth. In the next stage, the composition becomes more woody with a slightly sweet finish. The parameters of the fragrance are very good. New Study (Postcard) is a fresh and incredibly intriguing composition for fans of freshness and citrus.
Aymara is a warm spicy composition, in which we can find fragrance notes such as incense, cardamom, cork, palo santo, oakmoss cumin, ambergris and citron. The opening of the fragrance belongs to the forest note of cardamom and incense, which create an interesting and warm fragrance with an intriguing woody accent. The whole is very intense and will definitely satisfy all fans of cumin and Palo Santo. At some point, the smell becomes smoky and very aromatic. The note of incense becomes even more powerful. The fragrance ends with interesting balsamic notes of amber and a hint of citron, which combine in an elegant way. The fragrance parameters are very good. The composition stays on the skin for up to 8 hours and will be a great fragrance for the autumn and winter season.
