Matiere Premiere is a new brand in the world of niche perfumes. The project was created in 2019 in France. So far, 9 fragrance have been released, the latest of which comes from 2021. Today, however, I will return to 2019 and the Flacon Leather composition. Incredibly addictive fragrance with notes of saffron, oud and Birch Tar.
The composition opens with the characteristic notes of Birch Tar with a hint of oud and saffron. The whole thing is extremely interesting and unique. The smell was at first difficult for me to describe in words, because what happens in the first moments of the fragrance projection surpasses all my writing skills. The wonderful and heavy combination of oud and Birch Tar creates a kind of warm and aromatic fragrance with a deep and slightly herbal soul. This warm aura accompanies us for quite a long time. After a while, the fragrance warms up even more and reaches a hint of saffron, which calms the whole scent down a bit.
The parameters of the fragrance are amazing. Matiere Premiere is a brand that focuses on quality and the best ingredients, therefore, the durability and projection of the fragrance is obvious here. I love such unusual fragrances. Flacon Leather is the quintessence of a niche perfume for me.
