Marc-Antoine Barrois is a French niche perfume brand. The project was launched in 2016 and so far 4 fragrance compositions have been created. Today I have for you a review of the original fragrance Encelade.

The vertigo of a man who, after a glimpse at the abyss of the Earth, is suddenly lit by a new hope letting him be transported from the world of the night to life. ENCELADE is another imaginary world of Marc-Antoine Barrois. ENCELADE holds a shadow-lignt relationship which plays its paradoxes with delight. The main accord of rhubarb, cedar and vetiver express the smell of Earth, sap and lush nature. The milky sandal wood and tonka bean add sensuality and addiction to the skin. The green and woody notes some to mingle with the crash of smoked and animal leather. ENCELADE is the pure definition of a perfume that conveys a wild magnetism.
Encelade is a piece created by Quentin Bisch. It is a woody and aromatic composition with aromatic notes such as: vetiver, rhubarb, sandalwood, tonka and cedar. The opening of the fragrance is a wonderful mix of rhubarb and vetiver, which creates a dry and fruity face of the fragrance. This refreshing summer aura accompanies us for a long time. In the next stage, the fragrance becomes more aromatic, with notes of cedar and creamy tonka. The fragrance becomes cozier with each passing moment, until the very finale, when we are enveloped in a warm, woody balsamic aura. Encelade is a niche fragrance, very unique and incredibly interesting.
The fragrance parameters are very good. The composition stays on the skin for up to 12 hours and will delight all vetiver fans. I am a huge fan of such interesting fragrances, thus, I can assure you that Encelade will be your best choice of buying something sight unseen.
