Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier is a top French niche perfume brand that has been on the market since 1988. During this time, 49 fragrance compositions have been created, the latest of which comes from 2019.
Santal Nobile is a composition from 2017. It is a woody and spicy fragrance composed of such accords as: incense, coffee, spices, sandalwood, castoreum, vanilla and patchouli. The opening of the fragrance is a mixture of sandalwood and spices, which create a great base for such a warm and deep fragrance. From time to time, the composition is injected with coffee and incense, although, sandalwood continues to play a major role here. At a later stage, the fragrance becomes slightly earthy and balsamic due to the characteristic notes of castoreum and ambergris. First of all, Santal Nobile is a perfectly balanced composition. It is a piece of work that pays a tribute to one of the most important ingredients in perfumery – sandalwood.
