The Maison Maître Parfumeur et Gantier was created in 1988 by the famous perfumer Jean-François Laporte. Rooted in the tradition of 17th century French perfumery, the brand draws its inspiration from travel, the world of opera and Baroque aesthetics. Between heritage and modernity, Maître Parfumeur et Gantier is characterized by audacious and rare compositions that breathe new life into perfumery. By preserving its artisanal aspect and by rigorously selecting the finest raw materials, the Parisian line guarantees a range of luxurious and refined fragrances. Perfumes for oneself or home fragrances, each creation is a signature and leaves an olfactory imprint. unique and striking.
Cuir Fétiche is a woody, leather fragrance with ingredients such as leather, iris, jasmine, ylang-ylang, musk, amber, sandalwood, patchouli, cedar, rose, geranium, lemon, mandarin and bergamot. The opening of the fragrance is a mix of woody notes and strong leather aromas with a powdery iris base. The fragrance is very intense and slightly tends towards oriental fragrances. There is a rose and jasmine and a characteristic note of geranium bathed in an interesting citrus elixir. This is, in my opinion, the most interesting moment. In the last stage, the composition becomes smooth and warm. There are cozy notes of musk and amber that rest on a slightly earthy note of patchouli and cedar. The fragrance parameters are amazing. The composition stays on the body for about 16 hours. This is one of the best results achieved by the perfumes I have tested. The Maitre Larfumeur et Gantier brand proves once again that it is a strong player. I am excited about how many interesting fragrances are still waiting for me to test.
