“Les Bains Guerbois is an adventure that captivates me. Straddling 3 centuries, it caught its breath like never before. A breath where exquisite and original scents mingle thanks to these great perfumers whom we have been inviting for three years to transpose the major dates of our house into fragrances. A unique, strong and eclectic Parisian story that rhymes with well-being, celebration, creativity and a thousand other things”.
Jean-Pierre Marois, Founder and Artistic Director of Les Bains Guerbois
1885 Bains Sulfureux is a composition with such notes as: rosemary, mandarin, black currant, bergamot, orange blossom, jasmine, incense, benzoin, labdanum, tonka, patchouli, sandalwood and musk. The opening of the fragrance is a great mix of rosemary and blackcurrant, as well as mandarin and bergamot. The fragrance is fresh and aromatic, with an interesting citrus base. In the next stage, there is an curious accent of orange blossom and jasmine. My favorite moment here is the mix of incense and lots of resins that, combined together, create an incredibly warm aura. In the last stage, a slightly earthy patchouli appears, accompanied by musk and sandalwood.
The parameters of the fragrance are very good. The composition stays on the body for up to 12 hours. The whole mix is light and incredibly aromatic. This is, by far, my favorite Les Bains Guerbois fragrance. If you are looking for an interesting, fresh and long-lasting composition, this fragrance will be a perfect fit.
