The spirit of Jacques Fath perfumes is captured today within the Fath’s Essentials Collection, its contemporary design and emblematic codes. It all started when passionate perfume lovers met: Rania Naim, art director of Jacques Fath Parfums, Cécile Zarokian, talented perfumer and Luca Maffei, rising star of niche perfumery. So while she was preparing the design of the Collection, Rania naturally offered Cecile to collaborate with her for the first part and Luca for the second.
Cécile’s work was an enchantment: each new perfume creation reveals a universe taking senses away through different territories. Exceptional raw materials, such as Neroli or Grey Amber, used for the mythical revisited Green Water as well as for three other creations – Vers le Sud, Bel Ambre and Curacao Bay – are the signatures of this unique collection.
For Luca, the direction was different: to no longer rely on a classic pillar of the brand but to draw from a rich and varied olfactory panel, the most innovative and noble raw materials to create four feminine lines: Rosso Epicuro, L’Orée du Bois, Les Frivolités, Lilas Exquis – and also pay tribute to Jacques Fath’s ” joie de vivre”.
Green Water
Green Water is a green elixir with ingredients such as mint, bergamot, neroli, oakmoss, basil, tarragon and several spices and citrus. The beginning of the fragrance belongs to mint, which plays the main role here. Supported by refreshing citrus chords, it gives a sense of relaxation, cools down and will certainly bring relief on hot days. After a few minutes, the smell gets a bit warmer, with notes of oak moss, tangerine and amber. Mint does not leave us until the last moments of the fragrance projection, although its face changes each time when new fragrance notes are revealed. The fresh and truly “green” composition of Green Water is definitely a unisex fragrance that will be a great summer companion. If you are looking for a refreshing but original fragrance, the Jacques Fath brand offer will definitely not disappoint you.
Red Shoes
Red Shoes is my favorite from the Jacques Fath range. The fragrance opens with accords of damask rose, blackcurrant, patchouli and geranium. It is the geranium that reigns throughout the fragrance and makes it so unique. Geranium is a very characteristic fragrance, floral, sweet and slightly waterlogged. In combination with the other ingredients, it creates a fresh, sweet and very intriguing scent. The parameters of the fragrance are sensational. The composition stays on the skin for up to 12 hours and its projection is surprisingly good. It creates an interesting aura around us, in the background there is the smell of champagne and rhubarb, and although these are missing in the composition, that’s how I feel. Masterpiece.
Curacao Bay
Exotic plumeria, a large dose of citrus and sea notes – here’s Curacao Bay – summer madness from Jacques Fath. The opening of the fragrance belongs to plumeria bathed in marine notes. Juicy citruses, especially orange, are noticeable in the background. After a few minutes, the fragrance changes its face. It gets warmer and cozy because of the musk scent. An interesting accent is also added by blackcurrant and green notes. Summer, unisex fragrance with a slightly sweet undertone in the form of blackcurrant and orange mousse. Something special!
The parameters of the fragrance are very good. The composition stays on the skin for up to 10 hours. The fragrance is perfect for warm, even hot days. Curacao Bay is a summer refreshment, with a hint of green chords and a sweet face. This is what exotic beaches smell like.
