Grasse, its exceptional terroir, its fields of roses, the harvests at daybreak when nature is barely waking up. A suspended moment that Fabrice Pellegrin wanted to share through Rosamonda. The invigorating air of the cool summer temperatures in Grasse, the pearls of dew deposited on the tender petals. The crunchiness of the stem from the root to the delicate thorns, the sap that runs under the foliage, the soft and enveloping light of the sun… In order to be closer to the flower and its incredible olfactory richness, 3 qualities of roses were used by Fabrice Pellegrin. Naturalistic florals intensified by hedione which gives a diaphanous aura to the composition. An immersive experience for a delicate and intoxicating fragrance.
Rosamonda is the work of the French brand J.U.S Parfums. The creator of the fragrance is Fabrice Pellegrin. It is a rose and incredibly aromatic composition, in which we find such fragrances as: Damask rose, May rose, Bulgarian rose, blackcurrant leaf, elemi and hedione. The opening of the fragrance welcomes us with a fresh rose aroma. The smell is quite harsh and uniform. After a few minutes, the warming notes of elmi and a slightly soapy note of hedione appear, making the whole mixture very cozy. In the next stage, the composition becomes slightly fruity, which is certainly due to the blackcurrant leaf. It is one of my favorite perfume ingredients, however, once again, I am surprised with how greatly it can change the fragrance.
The fragrance parameters are very good. Even though, it is a light and rose composition, the fragrance stays on the body for up to 12 hours, which is a great result. If you are a fan of fresh roses, Rosamonda will be a dream come true for you.
