David Jourquin is a brand that has appeared on my blog many Times before. This time I am returning with a fragrance review, which charmed me with its name and description. Cuir de Reve is the scent of leather and my favorite iris. How did my test go?
Cuir de Reve is a powdery vanilla composition with notes of leather, iris, clove, heliotrope, vanilla and patchouli. The opening of the fragrance is a sensual blend of iris and aromatic spices with a hint of vanilla. After a few moments, notes of leather and cloves appear. The fragrance becomes incredibly aromatic and vanillic. Vanilla is the queen of this fragrance. In the next stage, the fragrance becomes more leathery and slightly suede with an admixture of red berries. I am a huge fan of leather fragrances and can confirm that leather can be sensed here until the very end of the projection. It becomes softer and more vanillic every hour and it does not disappear, which is what I value the most in this fragrance.
The parameters of the fragrance are excellent. The David Jourquin brand has accustomed me to strong and long lasting compositions, which is why I am not surprised by the good quality of Cuir de Reve. I recommend this fragrance to all fans of vanilla, leather and powdery fragrances.
