Pineward perfumes capture abandoned alpine farmsteads, boreal bracken and briars, frost-laden and fog-blanketed firs, loam-covered logs, prickles of pine, thickly thicketed thistles, rotting rooted carpets, morel mushroom mycelium, sap encrusted spruces, misty, murky, mossy, forests up in a stoppered bottle. My hope is that wearing Pineward perfume will transport you to remote untamed forests far, far, past the reaches of civilization and into primeval black woods of fantasy.
Icefall is a composition in which we will find: blue cypress, juniper berries, cedar, white grapefruit, sandalwood, ocean pine, nootka tree and seaweed. The opening of the fragrance belongs to a woody blend of cypress, pine and cedar. At times, you can feel a slightly sweet syrup from pine shoots, which together with grapefruit create something special. I love the bitter accent of grapefruit in perfumes. The fragrance, as the name suggests, adds a feeling of coolness, and the imagination begins to work. In the next stage, a marine accent appears, which together with the notes of pine creates an unusual combination. Pine berries appear again, which here play the role of a link between marine and forest accents. The scents of the Pinward brand take us to different places. Just one spray is enough. Something fabulous.
White Fir is a composition in which we find such ingredients as: orange, ginger, white fir, clove, anise, pine, musk, vetiver and oakmoss. The opening of the fragrance is juicy orange and ginger. In the background there is a noticeable accent of cloves and anise. The scent is warming and aromatic. In the next stage, vetiver and oakmoss appear, which keep the fragrance in forest climates. I love such juicy citrus scents with an interesting and spicy twist. The composition is perfectly blended, which makes each ingredient in its place.
Holy Mountain is a fragrance created for the Apoteker Tepe Collection. The fragrance was inspired by the famous film by Alejandro Jodorowsky “The Holy Mountain”. The composition of the fragrance includes: pine smoke, incense, fir balm, labdanum and guaiacwood. The opening of the fragrance is a blend of smoky and incense notes with a distinctive note of balsam fir. The smell is incredibly warming. I like the fact that, just like in a movie, we get to know each character separately, and at some point we get them all in one frame. The journey that Holy Mountain gives us is an adventure full of the smell of smoke, resins and trees. If you love warming fragrances, you will definitely love this one.
