The Perris Monte Carlo brand is one of my favorite perfume brands. Their compositions are always very interesting and the parameters of the fragrances are at the highest level. That is why, today, I decided to test as many as two fragrances of this brand: the spicy fragrance of Cacao Azteque and the warming Amber Gris.
Amber Gris is a very warm composition that warms our senses. The fragrance also includes ingredients such as: amber, rose, angelica, labdanum, gerania, coumarin, vanilla, musk, cedar and sandalwood. The opening of the fragrance is a mixture of ambergris with labdanum and wood notes. The fragrance is deep and saturated with warmth. A blend of rose and vanilla adds a light sweetness, which makes the fragrance develop on our skin wonderfully. In the next stage, we get an enveloping blend of sandalwood and musk, which is a great base for the characteristic notes of geranium and artemisia. The fragrance parameters are at a very good level. The composition is developing very well and I estimate its durability for 12-14 hours. If you love warm and warming fragrances with a slight hint of sweetness, Amber Gris will be a great fit.
Cacao Azteque is a warm, spicy composition that includes such aromatic notes as cocoa bean, sandalwood, leather, musk, cardamom, pink pepper, black pepper, tuberose, rum and orchid. The opening of the fragrance is, of course, a spicy blend of powdered cocoa, rum, cardamom and pepper. The scent is incredibly interesting and slightly chocolatey, whereas the intense notes of leather or musk add great depth to it. I love such aromatic and spicy fragrances, thus, I’m delighted with how long the fragrance takes to develop and how much it has to offer in the next stages of its projection. A fragrance with class and character. The fragrance parameters are very good. The composition stays on the body for up to 10 hours and will be appreciated by all cocoa, cardamom and leather fans.
