This is the beginning of a beautiful Italian story, the kind that is always a pleasure to hear. Back in the ’50s, when everything was so hopeful, Mr. Nappo opened a small shop in Neapolitan land with a laboratory of essences. The creativity and brilliance that characterise the Neapolitan people, made it possible for Mr. Nappo to prosper. In this creative atmosphere grew young Luigi, gifted with great curiosity and a creative mind. He became fascinated by the activity of his father, and also by the great literary masterpieces of adventure, such as Salgari, being the most exotic and compelling. Once grown up, following the footsteps of his father’s company, he tried to come up with a line of perfumes. The launch of his own brand was a way to give form to the emotions experienced on imaginative journeys and magnificent places, lived through the great tales of adventure. It is never easy to identify the right olfactory nuances, when it comes to transforming your emotions into perfume, but ArteOlfatto is a success in this sense. The “scented” path concentrates on a key element for each creation, that expresses the emotions evoked by the places better than others and the atmosphere idealized by literature.
Black Hashish is a warm and enveloping scent of incense and strong smoke. It has a rich and hypnotic mood, with dark and persistent notes such as Coffee, Oud, Tobacco and Ambergris. Deep, never oppressive and at the same time delicate, captivates and leads in a real journey into oblivion.
Black hashish is a composition in which we find such ingredients as: incense, tobacco, ambergris, violet, labdanum, coffee and sandalwood. The opening of the fragrance is an intense mixture of tobacco and incense with an interesting slightly coffee base. The further you go, the more spicy the fragrance becomes with an even more interesting coffee accent. In the next stage, a note of incense appears. I like such smoky and warm compositions. The scent is unobvious and incredibly intriguing. In the next stage, woody notes appear, including wonderful and creamy sandalwood and cozy musk. The parameters of the fragrance are very good. I am delighted with the quality offered by the ArteOlfatto brand.
Primero Marocaine is more than a perfume, it’s a real journey, which transports to arid lands but rich in aromas. The sweet and illuminating note of Tobacco is intertwined with warm moroccan Hashish, woods and spices for a rich, luxurious and charming fragrance. Spicy notes of Nutmeg, Cinnamon and Saffron meet in the top notes with Tobacco and moroccan Hashish. Woody notes of Patchouli, Cedar Wood and Vetiver dominate the heart. Amber, Leather, Sheath Wood, Musk, Sandalwood, Tonka Bean and Vanilla close the base.
Primero Marocaine is also a tobacco composition, but here we will find completely different fragrance notes, including: nutmeg, vetiver, patchouli, vanilla, cinnamon, saffron, tonka and leather. The opening of the fragrance is an incredibly woody tobacco blend. Aromatic cinnamon and saffron in the background. The smell is incredibly spicy, and the vetiver adds an interesting accent. I am a fan of the combination of tobacco and vetiver in perfumes and once again I get something wonderful and at the same time new and revealing for me. The further you go, the smell becomes even more woody, although the main accents are still present.
