The Angela Ciampagna brand presents the latest Virtus collection, which premiered at the Exsence fair in spring 2023. The collection includes two fragrances: Vis and Levis.
Vis is a majestic fragrance of oud, with a flowery and fruity rise that immediately becomes warm, animalic and spiced with black pepper, and in which cinnamon steals the whole scene with its gourmand, elegantly cheerful and casual tone. In Vis the spicy notes of cinnamon and black pepper intertwine in a voluptuous dance.
Vis is a warm spicy composition with ingredients such as cinnamon, black pepper, musk, sandalwood, saffron, raspberry, amber, Peru balsam, oud and cypriol.
The opening of the fragrance is a mix of oud, black pepper and an interesting note of raspberry. The smell is exceptionally deep and strong. The composition reminds me of the best quality attars. The smell is rich and it is one of those compositions in which we immediately feel the highest quality ingredients. After some time, there is also an accent of saffron, which acts as an olfactory decoration. In the next stage, the fragrance changes its face and becomes a bit more balsamic with a lot of perceptible amber and Peru balsam. A great complement to the whole is musk, which gives smoothness. Thanks to this, the smell is not imposing on our surroundings. It is a great decoration that we wear for long hours.
The parameters of the fragrance are very good. The composition stays on the skin for up to 18 hours, although it was still noticeable even after a bath. The fragrance is dedicated to all fans of oud and attars of the best quality. This is one of the best fragrances with oud in the lead role I’ve ever had the opportunity to test.
