Brera6 is an Italian brand of niche perfumes that was founded in 2018. Currently, the brand has 7 fragrance compositions to its credit, and today I prepared for you a review of the first fragrance that got into my hands -amber wood composition 1848!
Milan is a city in continuous transformation, projected towards the future but able to preserve its own identity. It is a vital city that releases energies and ideas and regenerates the spaces reinventing itself every day in a change that is not only urbanistic but which involves people’s lifestyles and habits.
Brera6perfumes were born here, a brand inspired by the identity and history of Brera and Milan, developing themes and stories that evoke emotions translated into olfactory notes. The packaging draw lines that ideally recreate a map of the city cut by a red diagonal line that recalls the road axis of Brera.
The perfumes disclose clean lines, elegance, quality and a certain minimalist sobriety that are characteristic elements and the result of the collaboration with “noses” of undisputed capacity.

Revolution! In 1848, insurrections began in Europe, and Milan mobilized in the historic “five days” of March: the streets of the city center turn into battlefields and the air fills with clouds of gunpowder, puffs of tobacco, bonfires of burnt woods and aromas of coffee and cognac: a masculine “rough” olfactory universe reflecting in a “lived” fragrance, with a decisive and rebellious character. Ten years after the repression of the 48’s riots, the Milanese will raise their heads again writing on the city walls “W Verdi”: a hymn to the great composer Giuseppe Verdi, but also a political message in favor of Vittorio Emanuele Re d’Italia against the Emperor.
1848! is a composition with scent notes such as gunpowder, myrrh, opoponax, labdanum, leather, patchouli, cedar, cognac, forest tobacco, celery, musk and wormwood. The opening of the fragrance greets us with a sharp scent of leather, cognac and opoponax. In the background, there is an interesting base of gunpowder and musk. The fragrance is warm, very aromatic and incredibly intense. After a few moments, the whole scent becomes a bit lighter. My favorite moment is the combination of leather with patchouli with a slight touch of resinous myrrh. The smell is slightly smoky and balsamic.
The fragrance parameters are amazing. Brera6 is a brand that focuses on the highest quality ingredients and you can feel it at every stage of the fragrance projection. The composition stays on the skin for up to 16 hours and will satisfy all fans of heavy and durable compositions with leather and cognac in the lead role.
